Tillman John Deere JDE81‑1 – Engine Turning Tool (Engine Rotation & Timing Tool)
Applications: Compatible with the following John Deere engines: 4024, 4039, 4045, 4239, 4276, 6359, 6619, 6059, 6068, 6076, 6081, 6090, 6105, 6125, and 6135.
This engine turning tool is designed for rotating the flywheel on engines equipped with a 129‑tooth flywheel ring gear and a 29.9 mm (1.18 in.) flywheel‑housing guide bore diameter. It provides the correct engagement and leverage required for safe, controlled engine rotation during service procedures.
Interchangeability: The JDG820 (formerly JDE81‑1) may be used when the JDE81‑1 is not available.
Important Application Note: This tool must be used for 6.8L engines in 7400 and 7600 John Deere tractors, as specified in service procedures.
OEM Alternative: This is an alternative to the OEM JDE81‑1 (previously a version of the JDG820).
