Tillman Tools Customer Care will contact you for approval if additional shipping charges apply.
We do not ship to PO Boxes.
Shipping Terms
How do I accept my shipments?
A signature is required for all Freight deliveries. Please ensure that the freight has been carefully inspected for damage before signing and accepting it.
It is the responsibility of the consignee(s) (customer) to receive all item(s). The consignee or a delegated representative must be present to receive any item(s) at delivery time.
- Customers are responsible for inspecting thoroughly all shipments for damage before signing and accepting their purchases.
- Any item with damage should be refused.
- The customer should decline the signature request and contact Tillman Tools Customer Care to request a replacement product or refund.
- If a shipment is signed for without exception noted for damage, the customer will need to contact the freight carrier directly to file a claim.
The Consignee Responsibilities(s)
Failure for a consignee(s) to be present to accept delivery may result in a delayed delivery and possible holding of the item(s), as well as additional charges by the freight company. If the freight company cannot deliver, storage charges for each day held will accrue. If held, these charges are the responsibility of the client who placed the order. If neither the freight company nor Tillman Tools can contact the customer who placed the order, the item(s) will be returned. In this event, the customer who placed the order will be held responsible for all costs (including, but not limited to, storage and any additional delivery attempts). Also, Tillman Tools may charge a restocking fee.
Receiving Delivered Item(s)
The consignee is responsible for removing all items(s) from the truck. Driver(s) are not allowed or responsible for removing delivered items (s). Unless a lift gate service is requested at the time of the order, the consignee is responsible for handling the item(s), which may require a forklift. If the shipment can't be unloaded and the freight company is requested to return with a lift-gate-equipped truck, the consignee will be responsible for the cost.
Inspecting Your Shipment
Before signing and accepting any freight, please inspect it for damage.
It is the consignee's responsibility to inspect their shipment for all damages. If the item(s) have been damaged, the consignee should refuse the delivery and immediately contact Tillman Tools. If the item has minor damage, the consignee must precisely describe the damage on both the consignee's copy and the freight company's copy of the delivery waybill.
Please note: Tillman Tools is exempt from all damages to any item(s) unless indicated on the shipping waybill by the receiving consignee or if the shipment is refused. If the shipment is signed for with no damage noted, the consignee must file a claim with the carrier directly. Tillman Tools will not reimburse the consignee for any damage not reported to the shipper at delivery time.
Concealed Loss or Damage
Please open and inspect all item(s) within the shipment quickly. If concealed damage is discovered, please contact the freight carrier to file a concealed damage claim. Also, please make every attempt to leave the package, package materials, and its contents as you found them when you first discovered the damage.
INTERNATIONAL ORDERS
Once placed, international orders cannot be canceled after 24 hours. No exceptions will be made, and no refunds will be issued. Any issues with shipping addresses or other problems that prevent the order from being shipped are the buyer's full responsibility.
Our responsibility ends once we deliver the order to the carrier. We are not responsible for any customs or duties issues at the destination.
CANCELLATION POLICY
If you want an order to be canceled, contact us at sales@tillmantools.com within 24 hours of order placement. We do not handle cancellations over the phone. Because we ship orders as quickly as possible, stopping your order from shipping may be impossible. Once shipped, we will not be able to cancel your order. If you do not want to keep your order, you may request a return to sales@tillmantools.com. Returned products must be in original packaging, unused, undamaged, and salable.
If you decide to refuse delivery for any reason, we will not refund the shipping charges and will charge a 30% restocking fee.
All returns of non-defective items will be subject to a 30% restocking fee.
RETURN POLICY
At Tillman Tools, our top priority is your satisfaction with your purchase.
- Non-Returnable Items: Electronic items are not returnable, and some other specified products are also non-returnable. This will be indicated in the product description or when adding the item to your cart.
- 30-day Return Policy: We offer a 30-day return policy for all other items. Items must be returned in original packaging and free of dirt, grease, or stains. We recommend insuring the package, as you are responsible for any loss or damage during transit. Ensure each piece is well-protected to prevent movement inside the box. Returns will only be accepted if the item arrives in new condition. We record stock and serial numbers to verify that returns are the original items purchased from us.
- Inspection and Condition: A technician will inspect each returned item. You must pay for return shipping if the item cannot be resold as new. Attempts to borrow and return items will not be successful.
- Return Authorization: If your return meets the above criteria, email us at sales@tillmantools.com within 72 hours to request a Return Merchandise Authorization (RMA) number. Returns are not handled over the phone.
- Return Window: Once an RMA is issued, you have 7 days to initiate the return. Returns beyond these 7 days will not be accepted.
- Misrepresentation Claims: You may be required to provide photos of the item for misrepresentation claims.
- Restocking Fee: A 30% restocking fee applies to all returns of non-defective items.
Return Instructions:
- Request an RMA: Contact us at sales@tillmantools.com to request an RMA. Returns are not handled over the phone.
- Pack Your Item: Pack the item securely and include a copy of the RMA.
- Ship the Item: Insure the package and return it to the address provided on the RMA within 7 days.
Is your item missing parts?
Often, we can send a replacement part for a missing or defective item. If you have a missing or defective part, please call our Custom Care team at 909-334-4400, and we’ll verify if a part can be ordered and sent directly to you.
Damaged Product and Freight (LTL – less than load) Shipments
Packaging - Please retain all packaging materials until you are confident your item is in good working order. Should you need to return an item to Tillman Tools, all packaging materials, including wood crates and large boxes, must be included. If you have uncrated an item, you will be responsible for rebuilding that crate, which might consist of purchasing and fastening new wood supports at your own expense.
Damaged Products—Please inspect your delivery prior to signing the receipt from the carrier. Inspecting your delivery should include the outside packaging and the contents of the package. Before signing for any merchandise, notes regarding possible damage should be written on the bill of lading. Suppose you sign for delivery without noting possible damage to the lading bill. In that case, you will be responsible for filing a freight claim with the carrier and arranging for any repair or return of the damaged goods.
Suspect Damage - The outer carton may occasionally look damaged, but the product inside the box is perfectly fine. If you suspect concealed damage, notate "Possible Freight Damage" on the delivery receipt while the driver is present. This way, if you discover later that the product is damaged, the remedy of a freight claim is easily handled.
If, after inspection, you find actual damage, please contact the Tillman Tools Custom Care team immediately by phone so we can assist with repairing or replacing your damaged item. Please note that engine-powered equipment that has been gassed or oiled must be taken to a service center for assistance (additional information listed below).
Obvious Damage - If you notice obvious damage, please do not sign for the delivery, and follow these steps:
- Refuse Delivery - Do not sign for the delivery.
- Call Us Immediately - Freight claims are time-sensitive and must be completed immediately.
- Do Not Email - You must call and speak with our Customer Care team; email should not be used to communicate a package that has been refused.
- Once we are notified of the damage, arrangements will be made to send a replacement.
Important Information about Engine Powered Equipment (Gas and Oil):
Due to federal shipping regulations, engine-powered equipment cannot be returned once it has been gassed or oiled. Once a product has been gassed or oiled, it needs to be taken to an authorized service center for any repair or technical assistance that may be covered under warranty. Gassed and oiled products cannot be returned to Tillman Tools for exchange, credit, or refund.
Tillman Tools is unable to arrange transportation of gas or oil items to or from an authorized service center or for a technician to come to your location for service.
The cost associated with transportation to a service center or repair work outside of what’s covered under warranty is at the sole expense of the customer and will not be reimbursed by Tillman Tools.
Product Warranties:
Most of the items sold by Tillman Tools, LLC are covered under the manufacturer's warranty. Please contact us for warranty information regarding specific manufacturers or items. If a customer has a warranty claim, in most cases, Tillman Tools, LLC will help facilitate the warranty process to ensure a timely handling of warranty claims. Tillman Tools, LLC will issue a Return Authorization number for every return. Customers may request an RA Number by emailing costumercare@tillmantools.com. This email must contain proof of purchase. Returned goods will not be accepted without an RA Number. Customers are responsible for shipping both ways.
Product Information – California Proposition 65
The State of California requires certain warnings concerning products containing chemicals subject to Proposition 65. A complete list of Proposition 65-regulated chemicals is available at www.oehha.ca.gov.
Our supplier provides information about products subject to California Proposition 65. We make no warranty or representation concerning that information and will have no liability, therefore. Some of the products we sell contain ingredients known to the state of California to cause cancer, birth defects, or other reproductive harm.
Force Majeure
Tillman Tools, LLC shall not be liable for any delay in, or impairment of, performance resulting in whole or in part from any force majeure event, including but not limited to acts of God, labor disruptions, acts of war, acts of terrorism (whether actual or threatened), governmental decrees or controls, insurrections, epidemics, quarantines, shortages, communication or power failures, fires, accidents, explosions, inability to procure or ship product or obtain permits and licenses, inability to procure supplies or raw materials, severe weather conditions, catastrophic events, or any other circumstance or cause beyond the reasonable control of Tillman Tools, LLC in the conduct of its business.

Only part of the tool needs to be replaced, do I need to send the entire item back?
In most cases, yes, but first contact Customer Care to find out at 909-334-4400.
I paid for additional materials for the item I purchased from Tillman Tools, will that money be refunded?
Unfortunately, we cannot reimburse customers for any costs associated with additional materials, etc., when an item is returned or exchanged.
How are refunds issued?
Refunds are issued via the original payment method. Returns are processed within 48 hours of receiving the item (Monday through Friday).
I purchased my item more than 30 days ago, can it be returned?
We will not honor a return outside of our 30-day, no-hassle satisfaction guarantee. We strongly suggest you fully inspect and test your item upon arrival and contact us within 7 days if it is not operating as expected.
My item is defective and it’s past the no-hassle satisfaction guarantee return window, what should I do?
We encourage you to test your product within 7 days of receipt so we can quickly remedy any issues. If you think your product is defective, don't worry. In most cases, it's a simple issue that can be resolved over the phone. When you call the Tillman Tools Customer Care team please have your model and serial numbers available for the fastest service.
My package is lost, what should I do?
Lost packages are usually located by the carrier and delivered. Replacements will be sent after the claims process is complete to avoid duplicate shipments. Although we cannot expedite replacements, we will work diligently with the carrier to resolve these matters most efficiently. You must contact us within two weeks of the actual scheduled delivery to guarantee that a loss claim with the carrier can be made.
I accidentally used the wrong address on my order. What should I do?
Suppose a package is returned to Tillman Tools due to an incorrect shipping address provided by a customer. In that case, the customer will be responsible for any additional shipping costs, the return shipping cost, and the re-delivery cost. Tillman Tools is not responsible for packages delivered incorrectly due to incorrect shipping information. If the item qualifies for our "Free Shipping" promotion, it will not be valid due to an error on the customer's part, and the customer will be charged for all actual shipping costs. In some cases, we may be able to reroute the package to the correct address. However, you will be responsible for the costs associated with rerouting the package.
How do I cancel my order?
Because we ship orders as quickly as possible, it may not be possible to stop your order from shipping. Once shipped, we are not able to cancel your order. If you decide you do not want to keep your order you may request a return to sales@tillmantools.com.
