Tillman EN-47971 Oil Pressure Gauge Adapter for GM/Chevrolet Generation 4 & 5 V8

This tool is compatible with Generation IV and V V8 engines. For Generation III engines, use GM-42907.

The small-block V8 engines now require a unique oil filter, and the oil pressure-sending unit is not easily accessible. The GM-47971 adapter replaces the spin-on oil filter, enabling the attachment of existing oil pressure gauges (GM-21867 or GM-21867-A) for engine oil system diagnostics. Additionally, the GM-45299 Engine Pre-luber can be connected to pre-lubricate the engine before starting a replacement engine.

Note: A 1/8" NPT thread adapter is required for aftermarket oil pressure gauges.
