The PT-2250-B Counterbore Tool Kit is engineered for precision and efficiency in counterbore repair and finishing. It’s perfect for:
- Cleaning up existing counterbores
- Recutting counterbores prior to shimming
- Finish-cutting the counterbore ledge in newly installed repair sleeves
Designed for fast setup and exceptional accuracy, this tool features a self-centering cutter plate manufactured to tight tolerances for precise alignment. The exclusive double-depth set collar—with .001" incremental adjustments—eliminates the need for feeler gauges and ensures consistent counterbore depth across all cylinders.
Its low-profile design allows in-frame engine repairs, saving both time and labor. Additionally, the tool supports counterbore ledge depth checks using the PT-5025 Dial Depth Gauge without removing the tool from the engine.
