  • 2002 - 2004 I35 (CA33) without VDC
  • 2003 - 2006 G35 Sedan and Coupe (V35, CV35)
  • 2003 - 2006 FX45/FX35 (S50)
  • 2004 - 2006 QX56 (JA60)
  • 2006 M (Y50)

If you confirm that an applied vehicle with “active” type wheel speed sensors exhibits the following symptoms:

  • Antilock Braking System (ABS) light is “ON”
  • CONSULT-II shows a DTC code for ABS Wheel Speed Sensor.

You should use "Essential" tool NI-45741-BOX ABS Wheel Speed Sensor Checker along with the appropriate jumper harness to power up the sensor and perform a component test.

For intermittent conditions, use a jumper harness from the Kit and CONSULT-II to diagnose the incident.

NOTE: “Active” type wheel speed sensors that are installed in Applied Vehicles cannot be checked with a standard ohm meter (DVOM) test. These type sensors require a power supply to operate and produce a signal.
