The Mopar 9649B Smart Beam Alignment Device is a specialized diagnostic tool used to calibrate and test the SmartBeam headlamp system. It projects a custom light pattern that serves as a reference point for aiming and alignment. Proper placement of the device in front of the vehicle is critical—all three LEDs must be illuminated to ensure accurate calibration.
Originally introduced for the 2005 Grand Cherokee (WK), this tool is also compatible with the Chrysler 300 (LX) and has since expanded to support a range of Mopar vehicles equipped with SmartBeam technology.
