Mopar Tools 9639A C213R Axle Differential Bearing Remover

This Differential Bearing Remover is specifically designed to remove the differential bearings from C213R rear axles equipped with Vari-Lok.

To use this tool, you will also need the 6444 Puller and SP-3289 Plug.

Here are the steps to remove the differential bearings using these tools:

1. Start by removing the axle assembly from the vehicle. Secure the axle on a workbench or suitable surface.
2. Locate the differential bearings that need to be removed. Ensure that you have access to the bearings for the removal process.
3. Install the SP-3289 Plug onto the axle housing. This plug will help protect the axle during the bearing removal process.
4. Attach the 6444 Puller to the differential bearings. Ensure that the puller is securely attached and aligned with the bearings.
5. Place the Mopar Tools 9639A Differential Bearing Remover on the puller. The remover should be aligned with the bearings and securely attached to the puller.
6. Begin tightening the puller gradually. As you tighten, the puller will exert force on the bearings, gradually removing them from the axle housing.
7. Continue tightening the puller until the bearings are completely removed from the axle. Be careful not to over tighten or damage the axle housing.
8. Once the bearings are removed, inspect the axle housing for any damage or wear. Clean the housing if necessary.
9. If you need to install new differential bearings, follow the manufacturer's instructions for proper installation.
