Mopar Tools 9023 Oil Slinger Installer
This tool is designed specifically for installing the Oil Slinger in vehicles equipped with an NV231 or NV242 Transfer Case.
To use the tool effectively:
1. Begin by identifying the NV231 or NV242 Transfer Case in your vehicle.
2. Locate the desired installation location for the Oil Slinger within the transfer case.
3. Insert the Mopar Tools 9023 Oil Slinger Installer into the transfer case, aligning it with the installation spot.
4. Apply gentle pressure while turning the tool clockwise to thread the Oil Slinger into place.
5. Continue rotating the tool until the Oil Slinger is fully installed and secure.
6. Once the Oil Slinger is properly installed, remove the Mopar Tools 9023 Oil Slinger Installer from the transfer case.
7. Finally, double-check the installation to ensure the Oil Slinger is seated correctly and functioning as intended.
