The Mopar Tools 8870 Detent Plug Remover is a specialty tool designed to be used with the C-3752 Slide Hammer. Its primary role is to remove the Detent Plug from the Manual Transmission Case during service procedures on Crossfire Vehicles.

It also effectively removes the Detent Plug from vehicles equipped with a G288 Manual Transaxle and G238 Manual Transmission. This tool, compatible with models from 2003 through the current year, is essential to any service procedure involving the Transmission and Transfer Case systems.
