Installation Instructions:

  1. Use Tool 0727-L when installing the seal and wear sleeve together.
  2. Caution: Handle Teflon seals with care.
    • Do not lubricate Teflon seal lips.
    • Oversize inside diameter lip seal and wear ring are shipped assembled; do not disassemble before installation.
  3. Attach the oil seal installation tool plate to the crankshaft using three guide pins.
  4. Install the press cup and driver hex.
  5. Tighten the hex nut until a positive stop is felt.
  6. Check for proper depth.
  7. Seals are installed with the yellow lip facing the transmission.
