GM-952 Camshaft Guide Pin is a tool designed to hold the crankshaft in the top dead center (TDC) position.

It is specifically used for setting the base engine timing when working on camshafts, valves, or timing components on the following Chevrolet models:

  • Chevy Aveo, model year 2012
  • Chevy Cruze and Volt, model years 2011 and 2012
  • Chevy Sonic, model years 2012 and 2013

This tool is compatible with the 1.4L (LUJ) engine found in the Cruze, Sonic, and the 1.4L (LUU) engine found in the Volt.
