To prevent damage to a new or remanufactured transmission, the oil cooler and lines must be flushed before the transmission is operated. J-45096-30 includes a pair of J-45096-31 adapters consisting of 2 quick connect fittings, hoses and clamps. They attach to the previously essential J-45096 TransFlow equipment to allow flushing of debris and contaminates out of the cooler and lines and a final flow check to ensure no blockage exists, no lines are kinked and the flow rate meets GM specification.
