Kent-Moore J-43435 Power Steering Adjuster Locknut Wrench
For General Motors. E/K, S/T P, M/L, G With recent changes to power steering gearing the torque is much more critical then with previous designs. Over tightening the nut affects return ability of the steering wheel. Previously the locknut was installed using a drift. The tool must allow access to hold the adjuster nut using J-42882 while torquing the locknut to 80 ft lbs. First torque the adjuster nut using J-42882. Then use J-43435 to torque the locknut to 80 ft lbs. while holding the adjuster nut using J-42882.
