Previously essential for Corvette, J-42203, is required for the XLR when the engine is removed from the vehicle. The front torque tube must be supported to keep the entire differential, transmission, and torque tube asembly from becoming unstable and tilting down, which could cause damage to the rear mount and crossmember assembly.
