Superseded from: J-41478

Used to install the crankshaft front oil seal installer to the front cover on 4.8L, 5.3L, 5.7L and 6.0L engines.

When used on LS7 engines, EN-47812 Installer Bolt is also required.

Small block V8 engines utilize a Teflon lipped front seal. When installed correctly the seal provides superior oil containment. It must be drawn squarely into the bore of the front cover and carefully to avoid damage to the inner lip.
