Kent-Moore J-41415 Pressurization Adapter Kit
I/M 240, ALL PLATFORMS The fuel system pressure adapter kit is used with the J 41413 EVAP Pressure Purge Diagnostic System to pressurize the vehicle EVAP system through the fuel tank filler neck. This procedure is required for diagnosis and repair of vehicles failing the I/M 240 evaporative system each est. With system under 30" of water pressure, the ultrasonic leak detector can be used to locate the source of the leak(s). After the repairs are made the tool is used to perform a leak down test to assure the vehicle will pass the evaporative system test when it goes back to the I/M 240 test facility. The J 41415 kit contains all adapters to connect any GM car or truck except the Corvette or a medium duty truck. Affected by I/M 240 legislation from 1969 to current model.
