Applications: 4L60E, 4L80E, and Medium Duty Truck

4L80E J 38868-A is a clamping tool used with J-6125-1B slide hammer to remove the output shaft from the transmission for proper service of the transmission. J 38868-A grips the machine groove of the stub shaft to protect the spline from damage.

We suggest a heavy duty version of this tool instead, which is J-44467.
