Applications: H2

2001 Chevy Impala, Chevy Monte Carlo, Buick LeSabre, Pontiac Bonneville, and the Olds Aurora Dual stage wheel module coil connectors were changed for these platforms. Instead of having only one SIR coil uplead, the new coil for these platforms has two coil upleads. This special adapter is used with J-38715 SIR Driver/Passenger Load Tool to simulate the presence of the driver frontal inflator module during system diagnosis. Plug the two black connectors into the two SIR coil upleads. Then, plug the yellow connectors to the PASSENGER INFLATOR and the STEERING WHEEL connectors in the J-38715-A SIR Driver/Passenger Load Tool.
