The pinion bearings on the 8.6" axle are being improved to enhance strength and durability. Existing service tools do not fit the new bearings. J-28677 fits the revised outer pinion bearing cup, and is used with J-8092 Driver Handle to install the bearing cup. Unapproved methods may damage the cup.
