Kent-Moore GE-41413-B Evaporative Emissions Tester (EEST) and Smoke Leak Tester

GE-41413-B is a multi-purpose tester which is used to perform several emissions related diagnostic procedures. The tester is specially designed for use with nitrogen gas filled cylinders for EVAP system leak testing and HEV battery pack water intrusion seal testing.

GE-41413-B replaces GE-41413-A and retains all the features and required EVAP diagnostic accuracy of GE-41413-A but is smaller in size so takes up less floor space in the shop than the GE-41413-A EVAP Cart and is easily portable with the special tester and cylinder holder/carrying handle.

The tester pressurizes vehicle EVAP systems and battery packs to 13in.H2O (~0.5psi) and allows a flow test and leak down test. If there is a leak, it then uses smoke to indicate the location of the leak.

For EVAP systems, J-41413-300 and various fuel cap adapters are used to plug and cap off the EVAP system where needed. For EV battery packs, electrical connector adapter and plug kits are used to seal the connectors in the pack RESS housing from leakage past the terminals.

The tester holder frame allows mounting of a small cylinder that holds enough nitrogen to fill fuel tanks and EVAP systems on 20 to 30 vehicles depending on the amount of fuel in the tank. Nitrogen tank not included.
