Applications: Malibu and ATS, 2014 Regal
The injectors are retained to the rail as an assembly before installation to the cylinder head. Each injector in turn must be held in position on the rail, and the injector retaining clip installed or removed by hand. 
GM-50791 holds the injector in position to allow the retaining clip to be removed or installed. GM-50791 is tightened over the injector body, without contacting the tip, and can be adjusted to allow the clip to be easily installed or removed.
