EN-50345 is used to drive or hold the jam nut on the valve clearance adjuster, while allowing a separate wrench to pass through EN-50345 to adjust the valve clearance. EN-50345 must be used because the jam nut is recessed, and will not allow conventional wrenches to reach it.
