The rear main seal is no longer supplied with an installation guide, and, due to the crankshaft bevel, installation without a guide will result in leaks. EN-47839 bolts to the rear of the crankshaft, and pilots the seal and housing into position. Because of the crankshaft bevel, J-8092 can be installed onto EN-47839 to hold it or remove it from the engine.
