EN-42385-880 Cylinder Head Bolt Thread Repair Fixture Kit contains EN-42385-881 Fixture Plate, J-42385-302 Drill Bushing, and J-42385-303 Head Bolt Alignment Pin. EN-42385-881 plate is bolted to the head surface of the engine block prior to repairing the cylinder head bolt thread. The plate is used to hold the centering bushing J-42385-303 to properly center the drill and tap when repairing the head bolt thread. Alignment is ensured by using J-42385-303 alignment pin before tightening the bolts from J-42385-2030 to secure the plate to the block. Once secure, the head bolt bore is drilled and tapped, and the insert installed through the bushing to verify the repair is centered.
