EL-50332-260 allows the previously essential EL-50332 Battery Service Tool to be electrically connected to the Volt Gen2 battery pack RESS BDU connectors to allow depowering of the pack through that connector trio in preparation for vehicle service, pack exchange or pack internal component service. Development of a gender-changer adapter will also be researched to determine if it can be used to adapt the EL-50332-260 Adapter Cable to plug in at the APM high voltage connector
