Applications: 2017 Chevrolet Bolt EV

The battery module electrical connectors are different on the Bolt EV than on other Hybrid and Battery Electric vehicles. EL-48571-62 is a pinout box adapter cable used with previously essential pinout box
EL-48571-A. The adapter and pinout box together allow Bolt EV individual cell groups to be checked with a multimeter at the CMA7 X1 and CMA7 X2 connectors for comparison with the GDS2 Scan Tool data and corresponding DTCs for proper diagnostics. The low output cell group, or groups, can then be identified and appropriate repairs performed, which may avoid replacement of the entire pack.
