DT-51628 is a two piece tool design.This tool serves two purposes,1. Serving as a device to sandwich and retain the C2 hub inside the clutch support when it is loaded into the motor assembly. 2. Used as a holding tool when torquing the C2 clutch housing fasteners to the motor assembly. The first component of this tool is a splined shaft which includes a 3/8" female square drive feature that is incorporated at one end and a threaded hole located at the opposite end. The second component of the tool is a knurled adapter that threads into the shaft. The C2 Clutch is built upside down and when flipped to the up position the components will fall apart. The adapter threaded into the splined shaft will retain the components and keep the C2 Clutch components intact upon installation into the motor. Additionally, the splined shaft with the assist of a 3/8" ratchet is used to keep the assembly from turning so that the C2 clutch fasteners can be properly torqued to the motor assembly.
