Kent-Moore DT-51076 Mainshaft Bearing and Gear Installer

The mainshaft rear bearing is installed onto the shaft over a 30 cm length, and pressed to seat correctly. Once the case is installed over the mainshaft, both the 4th speed and 3rd speed gears are pressed into position on the mainshaft, at depths of 25 cm and 20 cm. This assembly cannot be done in a conventional hydraulic press, and the components must not be hammered into position, or other components will be damaged. DT-51076 is a tube installer with a supplied threaded rod assembly that attaches to the mainshaft output threads, and passes through DT-51076 to allow the supplied hardware to drive the bearing and gears into their designed positions, each in turn. Unapproved methods will damage the internal transmission components.
