Application: 2014 Silverado/Sierra 6L80/6L90 transmission

An output shaft grease can is being added to 6L RWD transmissions with slip yoke applications for the 2014 model year.
  • This can is required to keep the grease captured in the slip yoke splines.
  • DT-50802 installs the can on the transmission Output Shaft.
  • Required to be made of metal as the required press load is 500-2000 lbs.
  • The can must be pressed on to protect three radial bearings in the transmission.
Includes:

DT-50802-1 Installer
(2)M10 X 1.5 threaded rods, hex nuts and washers
(2) 3/8-24 threaded rods, hex nuts and washers
