Cadillac ATS
2012 GMI700 trucks will use American Axle transfer cases. The mounting studs to attach the transmission are installed and tightened to a specific torque. Installation using the "double-nut" method will make reaching the correct torque difficult. DT-49308 installs the stud, and allows it to be correctly torqued. The bolt on DT-49308 can then be backed-off to allow DT-49308 to be removed without backing out the stud.
