Kent-Moore DT-48146 Press Support, Pinion
For GM / General Motors. DT-48146 is used to support the pinion cartridge on the Getrag 760 PTU during service. The pinion cartridge must be supported all the way around its mounting flange when removing the pinion from the bearings and output flange. If the pinion cartridge is not supported properly, damage to the housing will result. Once the pinion cartridge is place into DT-48146, a hydraulic press is used to press the pinion out of both the flange and the pinion bearings.
