Kent-Moore DT-47797 GM 2-6 Clutch Piston Spring Compressor

The Kent-Moore DT-47797 is a piston spring compressor that compresses the 2-6 piston spring and pushes the retaining ring through the piston bore.

It is used with the DT-48056 spring compressor bridge to compress the 1-2-3-4-5-6 Clutch Piston.

It is compatible with the 2017-later Buick LaCrosse, Enclave; Chevrolet Cruze, Equinox, Malibu, Traverse; and GMC Terrain

DT-47797 is used with DT-48056 spring compressor bridge to compress the 1-2-3-4-5-6 Clutch Piston Return Spring and the 3-8 Clutch Spring to allow piston and retainer installation in GF6 and GF9 transaxles during unit overhaul.

For DT-47797 to function correctly the tool and clutch spring must be centered when compressing the spring.
