  • 2001 and later GMT800, 2500HD, 3500 with 6.6L Duramax diesel engine

The crankshaft front seal is fitted to both the engine block and crankshaft. Proper alignment of the inner and outer seal bodies is critical to prevent leakage. This specialty tool is designed to install the seal to the correct depth and alignment.

Made of high quality stainless steel with high strength and toughness. Anti corrosion and impact resistant to ensure excellent performance and lasting service time.

Installation Instructions:

  1. Place the seal onto the end of the crankshaft.
  2. Screw the ST-124 into the end of the crankshaft.
  3. Turn the forcing screw so the body of the tool pushes the seal until it bottoms out in the block.
