Application: 2019-later Silverado/Sierra trucks with 3.0L Diesel (RPO LM2)

GM-52448 is used to service the fuel injection pump on 3.0L Diesel (RPO LM2) engines.

GM‑52448 includes a sprocket holder, pump removal body, and forcing screw. Once the access plate on the rear cover is removed, the sprocket holder of GM-52448 is installed through the fuel pump drive gear to hold the gear in the timed position, and fastened to the cover to prevent the drive chain tensioner from extending.
