General Motors GM-50910-A Turbine Shaft Seal Installer

Kent-Moore Tool Number: DT-50910-A

The DT-50910-A is a set of three tools designed to correctly install and compress the four solid Teflon seals on the turbine shaft to stator shaft support.

  1. DT-50910-3: This tool is a 9-inch long, 1.5-inch OD smooth tube with an adjustable depth stop-rod. It fits over the shaft and protects the four seals from damage as they slide down the turbine shaft.
  2. DT-50910-2: Featuring expandable fingers, this tool snugly fits the protector and evenly pushes the seals down the protector into their respective grooves on the turbine shaft without over-expanding the seals.
  3. DT-50910-1: This tool has a tapered ID that gradually compresses the seals to the correct OD, allowing them to slide inside the center support without being nicked or cut.
