The GM-50648-A is a specialized tool designed to install input shaft seals in HD and SHD Magna NQF/NQG transfer cases equipped with Allison transmissions. These transfer cases use a larger-diameter input shaft and seal, which are incompatible with the earlier installer GM-42738.

This installer allows the seal to be driven flush into the bore while the input shaft remains in place, ensuring proper installation without risk of damage.
