General Motors GM-49756 Vacuum Pump Pulley Installer

When servicing the vacuum pump, the pulley is serviced separately. The GM-49756 tool ensures the pulley is positioned correctly and flush with the end of the pump shaft.
To use this tool, follow these steps:
- Assemble the nut and bolt from the GM-49756 tool through the included thrust bearing and spacer.
- Insert this assembly through the pulley, ensuring the spacer contacts the pulley.
- Thread the assembly into the end of the pump shaft.
- Hold the bolt in place and tighten the nut against the thrust bearing to seat the pulley to the end of the pump shaft.
Using unapproved methods can damage the pump or cause belt misalignment.
