This specialized three-piece tool set is designed to install and size solid Teflon seals on the 6T70 transaxle input shaft without damaging the seal ring edges.

🔧 Tool Components & Functions

  • GM-46624-3 – Cone Protector:
    Prevents the seal’s inner surface from contacting the sharp grooves of the transfer drive gear support ring during installation.
  • GM-46624-2 – Seal Installer:
    Guides each seal over the input shaft and ensures it seats cleanly into its designated ring groove.
  • GM-46624-1 – Seal Sizer:
    Compresses the installed seals to the correct diameter, allowing the transfer drive gear to slide over them during reassembly without causing damage.
