The GM-46143-A is a specialty adapter set designed for pressure testing vehicle cooling systems and surge tank caps to detect potential leaks. It securely threads onto the vehicle’s surge tank, allowing for complete system pressurization to verify the cooling system's integrity.

The adapter features a precision-machined center core with integrated O-rings that seal the surge tank vent port, enabling proper system pressurization and accurate test results. It also includes a second component that threads directly onto the surge tank cap to assess the cap’s sealing capability.

Both adapters are intended for use with the GM-24460-A Pressure Tester Pump.

  • Cadillac: CTS (2003–2011, 2013–2014), ELR (2014), Escalade (1999–2000, 2002–2014), STS (2005–2011)
