This tool is compatible with Generation 3 engines. For Generation IV and V V8 engines, please use GM-47971.

C/K Series: The only access points for pressure checks on the LSI engine are the oil galley plugs or the oil pressure sending unit. The M16x1.5 thread size is uncommon for oil pressure gauge adapters. GM-42907 is essential for accurately diagnosing oil pressure at the sending unit port.

This tool should be used with GM-21867 or GM-21867-A.
