Applications: 2010 Camaro with Tremec Transmission.

The oil filter for TR6060 transmissions is pressed lightly into the front case of the unit. During service on the gear set, or when directed by service information, the filter must be removed. Once service is complete, the filter must be installed to prevent component damage. J-36017 fits over the filter, and its slide allows its arms to firmly grasp the oil filter.

The GM-23907-1 Slide Hammer is attached to GM-36017, and can be used to remove or install the filter. Unapproved methods will damage the filter.
