The GM-28467-50 is an engine support hook designed for the 3.8L engine. This tool is used in conjunction with GM-28467-B.

Whenever the engine support fixture is required on all RWD-based vehicles with 3.6L HF V6 engines, current mounting points require removing the upper intake manifold and throttle body. GM-28467-50 has an offset built in, which allows it to clear the fuel rail on the left side on the engine. Using GM-28467-50 allows use of the engine support fixture with the intake manifold and throttle body installed, saving several hours on the repair. The existing straight hook GM-28467-7A will continue to be used on the right side of the intake manifold.
