General Motors GM-52724 Input Seal Installer

Application: 2020 Chevrolet Corvette w/Tremec DCT TR-9080 (RPO M1L)
The input shaft seal installs into the front cover of the Tremec DCT, and onto the input shaft. Once the seal is carefully guided over the input shaft splines, GM-52724 is used to install the seal into the cover bore and onto the input shaft at the same time. The diameter (39 mm) and height (50 mm) of the spline, along with the requirement to seat the ID and OD at the same time, do not allow using existing tools.
