Applications: Knorr-Bremse Calipers – type SB¸ SK¸ SN – typically found on DAF / Foden / MAN / Mercedes / Scania / BOVA ¸ plus BPW & SAF Trailers.

Brake Caliper Socket (replaces Brake Caliper Shear/Break-Away Adaptor on the original caliper)

Manufactured from Chrome Vanadium¸ Manganese Phosphate finish

This adapter is fitted on all new Knorr-Bremse calipers as an OEM part of the caliper¸ and is also supplied as part of the OEM service kit¸ along with the dust cover which fits over the caliper adjuster. It is designed to shear/break-away when used¸ hence the desire for a socket which covers the same application.
