Ford Rotunda 308-428 PTO Driven Gear Seal Remover
The Ford Rotunda 308‑428 PTO Driven Gear Seal Remover is a specialty service tool used to remove the PTO‑driven gear oil seal from the Power Transfer Unit (PTU) on a wide range of Ford, Lincoln, and Mercury vehicles. It is designed to be used together with tool 100‑001, which provides the puller base for the seal‑removal operation.
The 308‑428 is used across many Ford PTU and engine applications, including:
- Ford Escape / Escape Hybrid (2005–2011)
- Ford Fusion / Fusion Hybrid (2010–2011)
- Mercury Mariner / Mariner Hybrid (2005–2011)
