Similar to J-45876 and compatible with OTC 5875
Applications:
- Detroit Diesel 60 Series 12.7L and 14.0L with EGR.
- MTUS2000.
- DD13.
- DD15.
- DD16.
Note: Use J-35791 instead if you're working on non-ERG engines.
Designed as a direct replacement compatible with OTC 5875 and functionally equivalent to J-45876. Features precision-engineered expander and bridge nuts equipped with thrust bearings to ensure smooth, friction-free operation without damaging the cylinder liner. Includes a complete Cylinder Liner Puller Assembly, ergonomic carry handle, and replacement O-rings for added convenience.
To use, insert the J-45876 liner remover tool into the cylinder and tighten the expander nut. This causes the metal cylinder body to expand, providing a secure grip on the liner. Tighten the bridge nut to extract the liner from the engine block. Use the integrated handle to easily lift and transport the liner to a workstation or storage area.
