Cummins ISX 20183 3163530 7mm Jake Brake Feeler Gauge Alternative
This tool, manufactured with high-standard steel and an anodized black finish, offers excellent strength and a non-slip handle.
It applies to all Cummins ISX engine brake adjustments and is an alternative to the 3163530 Jake Brake Tool (7MM) feeler gauge or shim.
The 7mm area is precision ground to +/- 0.0005 inches. Insert this tool between the slave piston’s contact surface and the exhaust valve adjusting screw. The feeler gauge must be inserted from the sides to clear the slave bridge. The lash adjustment must be performed on both slave piston adjustment screws on each cylinder.
