The Automatic Engine Timing Pin and adapter for Caterpillar engines simplifies TDC valve/injection timing by providing a spring-loaded pin that can be easily engaged and disengaged.

Is used on CAT engines C-7, C-9, C-11, C-13, C-15, C-16, 3179, 3196, 3200, 3300 and 3400. Caterpillar C-11 and C-13 require adapters 139-7063 or 139-7064 depending on the application.
