The Time-Sert 1812CORE-BS M8 x 1.25 Metric GM Rocker Arm Thread Repair Kit is for second time thread repair. Use the Time-Sert 1812CORE-BS thread repair kit when an initial thread repair has failed.

The mechanic doing the repair will have to set the counterbore depth manually by hand. The five included Big-Sert 58121 inserts with a metric length of 11.7mm are held in place by the installation driver cold rolling the bottom of the insert, locking the insert in place.

If you are doing a first time thread repair you will need to purchase the Time-Sert 1812CORE thread repair kit.
